Eli Weinberg is an American Industrial and Furniture Designer based in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Architecture and the Arts in 2022 with a Bachelors of Design. Since graduation he has shown work at the Silverroom Design Showcase in Chicago, and worked as a designer and product manager with a small team of craftsmen.
His design principles were shaped by the Scandinavian design traditions. A strict dedication to material and honesty are driving forces in his work. With his recent work on the Beam Series and the Tisch Table, he has been exploring the relationship between beauty and efficiency. His biggest design influences include Poul Kjærholm, Cecilie Manz, Shigeru Ban, and Åke Axelsson.
